Tiananmen Square

Prior to dinner we decided to visit Tiananmen Square (Gate of Heavenly Tranquility). Strange but true: here I was a capitalist standing in the heart of modern-day's largest communist regime.  There was a lot of happy tourists strolling, taking pictures, laughing, or just sitting around. Of course, there were several occasions that we were the tourist attraction for the local Chinese people :-)

An interesting site that has two 360-degress panoramic and photo montages ( http://www.roundtiananmensquare.com/heavenlypeace/# )

Despite all the differences, at least the governments in China and Taiwan both agree that Dr. Sun Yat-sen is the founding father of modern China.
