4x4 Wedding Anniversary
June 2, 2000

Cinnamon Bear Inn. The room was tastefully and warmly decorated. Looked at the little teddy bear on top of the quilt.	We had dinner at Tra Vigne. The decor was interesting, but Theresa was not that impressed by the food.

Instead of driving, we simply walked down the street and arrived at the Beringer Vineyards.
Theresa was intrigued by the Chardonnay grape.	We had a nice tour by a friendly guide.
	Along our walk we encountered CIA. No, not that CIA. This CIA is the Culinary Institute of America.
We were disappointed that we were not able to sit on the patio to enjoy a panoramic view of the vineyard. However, we had a fun lunch indoor.	Soft and crusty bread with extra virgin olive oil.
An delectable assortment of olives.	Both of our lunch were heavenly. Who needs to eat at French Laundry? :-)
	Olive oil poached scallop with Basque vegetables and opal basil.
For dinner we had the Chef's tasting Menu at the Pinot Blanc.
Chilean sea bass over green asparagus puree with spring morels.	Rhubarb glazed duck breast with fresh porcinis and haricot vert

The next morning we drove around. We visited one of the champagne cellar.
	We prepared for our journey home by having French toast! Until next time.
