We had a great time camping at Ventana Wilderness Campground at Big Sur, California ( http://www.ventanawildernesscampground.com/ ). Rondo especially enjoyed the camping experience. The only hiking we did was to take a short hike to the Ventana Inn ( http://www.ventanainn.com/ ).
