This is a very special photo because this is the picture of
Rondo that I always carry in my wallet for the past 10+ years. I don't even
carry a picture of Theresa. |
This was when we saw Rondo for the first time in Sacramento
at his breeder. |
Homecoming. |
Isn't Rondo just the cutest puppy? |
Our first family Christmas picture with Rondo. |
Rondo got to pick up the Christmas tree. |
Rondo enjoying the sun in our backyard at Egret Way,
Fremont. |
Why was Rondo in this cave? On the way up to Mission Peak
he just could not stand the heat. Could he make it? |
Yes, Rondo made it all the way to the top. |
Another favorite place for him is Mendocino. |
After a party, Rondo got to do the dishes. Don't worry. You
don't have to call the Animal Welfare people. I was the one who did all the
dishes. |
A few times we house-sat a friend's place in Bolder Creek.
Rondo got to be friends with a wire-haired fox terrier. |
In our old house at Egret Way, Rondo was helping to pick
out the new carpet for our new house at Kimber Park Court. |
Rondo with a gigantic chew toy. |
Most of the furniture are off-limits to Rondo except the
leather recliner. |
Rondo likes to look out the window and plays guard-dog. |
Rondo's favorite place in the world has to be Carmel. He
was the junior explorer at Carmel City Beach, where he run around without a
leash. He just loves to zoom off to visit another dog and then zoom back. |
Another successful hiking trip to the top of Mission Peak. |
Rondo got to stay at a beach house in Carmel that we rented
for a week. This is also the cover of my father's watercolor book. |
A great way to spend an afternoon at Carmel is to beg food
from Theresa. |
On the way home from Carmel Rondo was very, very sleepy. |
In addition to loving to eat lamb chops, Rondo always likes
to sleep with his lamb skin carpet. |
Don't worry. We really did not tie him to this hitching
post in Carmel. |

The other piece of furniture that we used to allow Rondo to
be on is the futon in the family room. However, we got a new cover, so he is
no longer allowed. I wonder if he misses that. |

A backyard overnight camping trip with Rondo wondering when
he was going to get breakfast. |
