Swamp Tour

One of the special things that I did at New Orleans was taking a swamp tour. I took an airboat tour with Louisiana Swamp Tours. I also got the chance to tickle the belly of an alligator.

The tour is located near the 20,000 acre Jean Lafitte National Park, the largest wetland National Park in the United States.

This is the airboat, which provide a high-noise and high-vibration ride.

Ear plugs or headphones to block out the noise is absolutely necessary.

It's a pity that the sun was not out. At least it was not raining.

Our tour guide casually reached into the water and pulled out a small alligator.
