Resorts in Kohala

To be honest, on our next visit back to the Big Island we will at Hawaiian Oasis Bed and Breakfast again because Carol and Mike are just superb innkeepers. Besides, you just cannot compare the cost of staying at a B&B vs. a resort. However, if we are tempted to stay at a resort then our preference will be

	Hilton Waikoloa Village (formerly Hyatt) because it's like a Disney fantasy.
	Mauna Kea Beach Hotel because I can do Yoga on the Mauna Kea Beach and play golf.
	Orchid at Mauna Lani (formerly Ritz-Carlton) because the building and ground is so pretty.
	Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel because we can swim in the "lipless" pool.
	Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows because I want to check out the Secret Pond.

Even though we like to stay at B&B's in Hawaii; however, Theresa and I also like to drink sunset cocktails, eat scrumptious dinners, and explore the striking hotel grounds. It's a rather inexpensive way to enjoy resort living without the cost :-)
