| We enjoyed some many different activities on Kauai even
though most people consider this to be a laid-back island. We enjoyed our bike ride in
Kapaa after renting our bikes at Kayak Kauai. We also enjoyed a 9-hole of golf at Kiahuna. |

Snorkeling at Lydgate. I'm a sucker for
snorkeling. Everyday we spent the last 1-2 hours before sunset snorkeling. Here is the
list of our favorite snorkeling places in descending order.
- Tunnels Beach (past Hanalei)
- Kee Beach (head of Kalalau Trail)
- Beach House Beach (Poipu)
- Lydgate Beach park (Wailua)
- Poipu Beach (Poipu)
- Salt Pound (Hanapepe)

Horseback riding at Poipu. One of our highlights
of our trip was taking a three-hour ride. We did it through CJM Stables. We had a friendly
guide. Best of all, we were on very easy-going horses. Which is a good thing considering
that this was my first time on a horse, not counting being on a mule at Grand Canyon. The
only thing was that my horse kept wanting to stop and eat the grass along the trail. I had
to stop him several times. By the way, Theresa's claim to fame is that she rode a horse
named Tom Sellec! |

Hiking at Waimea
Canyon. Even though I have been to Grand
Canyon twice, I still was impressed by the aptly named "Little Grand Canyon." We
enjoyed the scenery. It's a shame that my photo did not turn off too well due to the cloud
cover. I think on our next trip we will get there earlier in the morning. |
